Laboratories received the award for innovation for the integrative approach in biomedical evaluation of patients with multifactorial afflictions in general, and autism spectrum disorders in particular, focusing on 3 major axes: Intestinal dysfunctions, Immune disorders and Infections, including a unique strategy of detecting intracellular bacteria using phage-based qPCR.
