We are happy to share a new scientific publication that highlights the potential of using the Phelix phage test in addressing the challenges for diagnosis of borrelia-related infections. Given that tick-borne diseases pose a growing global concern, accurate diagnosis is crucial. Traditional diagnostic tests can be problematic due to the complex immune evasion strategies of Borrelia species. The use of bacteriophages as diagnostic tools is able to overcome these challenges, due to their high specificity and potential for greater sensitivity. The Phelix phage test specifically targets borrelia-specific bacteriophages in biological samples (blood, urine, ticks, etc), which could significantly enhance patient outcomes and public health.
